Civilian infrastructure damaged as Russians shell central Kherson

In central Kherson, artillery shelling damaged an administrative building, a residential house, as well as medical and educational institutions. Utility workers are currently eliminating the consequences of the attack.

Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Sunday morning in Kherson once again began under enemy fire. Russian forces shelled the central part of the city. Enemy shells damaged a medical and an educational institution, an administrative building, and a residential house,” Prokudin wrote.

According to him, six people were injured, all of whom received necessary medical assistance.

Specialists from the Kherson Regional Emergency Rescue Service and the Kherson Parks municipal enterprise are working on eliminating the aftermath of the attack,

As reported earlier, on August 31, Russian forces shelled the Central District of Kherson with artillery. The regional administration confirmed that a medical facility was among the targets.
