
Russian shelling across the Kherson region throughout the day left one civilian dead and twelve others injured.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“According to the investigation, on August 31, 2025, Russian forces launched attacks on the Kherson region using artillery systems and various types of drones,” the statement reads.
As of 18:00, it has been confirmed that one person was killed and twelve others wounded.
In particular, a woman was killed during the shelling of Kherson city.
Ten civilians were injured in various districts of the regional center, while two more were wounded in the town of Bilozerka.
The enemy attacks damaged private homes, vehicles, administrative buildings, and medical facilities.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, a woman was killed in Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district after an enemy drone dropped explosives.
On the morning of Sunday, August 31, Russian forces shelled Bilozerka in the Kherson region, injuring two people.
Around 10:00, Russian troops opened artillery fire on Kherson’s Tsentralnyi district. A medical facility was hit, and injuries have been reported.
