
Ukrainian midfielder Georgiy Sudakov, 22, has completed his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to Portugal’s Benfica.
According to the Ukrainian club’s press service, the two clubs finalized the remaining transfer details, and Sudakov has signed a personal contract with the Lisbon side, Ukrinform reports.
Sudakov joined the Shakhtar Academy in 2017 and made his first-team debut in 2020 during a UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid. He quickly established himself as a regular starter.
In total, Sudakov made 148 appearances for Shakhtar, scoring 35 goals and providing 26 assists.
Sudakov will now join his Ukraine teammate, goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin, who also plays for Benfica.
