Two killed, eight injured in Russian strikes on Donetsk region in past day

On August 31, Russian forces killed two residents of the Donetsk region and wounded eight others.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported this on Facebook.

“Russian troops killed residents of Bilytske and Iverske. Eight more people across the Donetsk region sustained injuries,” Filashkin stated.

He emphasized that the total number of casualties caused by Russian aggression in the Donetsk region—3,442 killed and 7,930 injured—does not include figures from Mariupol and Volnovakha.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on August 28, a Russian soldier killed a civilian man in Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk district.
