Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 591 strikes across 20 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. A 66-year-old woman was injured during an attack on the Polohy district.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Russian troops launched six airstrikes targeting Huliaipole, Omelnyk, Poltavka, Malynivka, Bilohiria, and Uspenivka. A total of 432 drones of various types—mostly FPV—attacked Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, Kamiane, Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Yurkivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Olhivske, and Preobrazhenka,” he wrote.
According to Fedorov, three MLRS strikes hit Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, and Mala Tokmachka. Additionally, 150 artillery strikes were recorded in Plavni, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.
Authorities received 57 reports of damage to private homes, apartments, vehicles, farm buildings, and infrastructure facilities, Fedorov noted.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on the night of August 30, Russian forces launched a large-scale drone and missile attack on Zaporizhzhia, killing one person and injuring 34 others.
