
President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded state honors to 956 more Ukrainian servicemembers, including 527 posthumously.
According to Ukrinform, the relevant decrees — No. 667/2025 and No. 668/2025 dated August 30 — have been published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
The documents state that the awards were granted for personal bravery demonstrated in defending Ukraine’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for selfless fulfillment of military duty.
The honorees received the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, the Order of Danylo Halytskyi, the For Courage award, and medals including For Military Service to Ukraine, Defender of the Fatherland, and For Saved Life.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, President Zelensky had earlier awarded 1,039 individuals, 282 of them posthumously.
