Since the beginning of the school year, 1,500 general secondary education institutions have been conducting entirely remote learning.

This was announced on television by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Nadiia Kuzmychova, according to Ukrinform.

“Last year, we started [the academic year] with 2,100 educational institutions operating entirely remotely. Currently, we have 1,500 such institutions. There is a clear reduction. We can also see this in the number of children. Last academic year, 600,000 children started their studies in a remote format, but as of now, we expect up to 400,000,” she said.
