
Russian forces carried out two targeted FPV drone strikes on civilian infrastructure in the town of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, wounding three municipal workers and damaging equipment.
Serhii Horbunov, Head of the Kostiantynivka Town Military Administration, reported the attack on Facebook, Ukrinform writes.
“On September 2, Russian troops conducted two targeted strikes on the town’s civilian infrastructure using strike FPV drones. The first attack occurred shortly after 7:00, when an enemy drone hit a municipal enterprise bus transporting workers to their jobs. As a result, three civilians were injured,” Horbunov said.
The wounded were immediately taken to a hospital in Druzhkivka.
According to Horbunov, the second strike took place a short time later, damaging a crane and a minibus belonging to the same municipal enterprise. No casualties were reported in the second attack.
Horbunov emphasized that Russian forces are deliberately targeting civilian workers who maintain the town’s daily life and services.
As reported earlier, on September 1, Russian forces killed one resident of Donetsk region and injured seven others.
