Two women killed in Russian shelling of Kupiansk

Two women were killed in Russian shelling in Kupiansk on September 2.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, according to Ukrinform.

It is noted that the son of one of the women called the 102 hotline today with this information.

The police added that they died on the spot from their injuries.

Investigators opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, on August 31, a 51-year-old woman was killed and a 59-year-old man was injured in the village of Podoly, Kurylivka community, Kupiansk district.
