On April 2, 2023, Russian troops struck the central part of the Donetsk region’s city of Kostiantynivka. Three civilians were reported killed and six injured.
The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“At least three people have been killed and six injured in Russia’s shelling of Kostiantynivka. Russians have struck the central part of the city this morning,” Kyrylenko wrote.
In his words, apartment blocks and detached houses were seriously damaged. Those injured are receiving medical aid. The police and rescuers are working at the scene.
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak added on Telegram that Russians had massively shelled the Donetsk region’s Kostiantynivka with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and cluster munitions.
