On April 2, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on four territorial communities in the Sumy region.
The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Over the past day, Russians have shelled four communities in the Sumy region, such as Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Yunakivka and Khotin,” the report states.
In the Yunakivka community, a total of 20 explosions were recorded. Russians used mortar systems. As a result, the premises of an agricultural enterprise were damaged: a farm building, cooling equipment and a power transmission line,” the report states.
In the Khotin community, Russian invaders also opened fire with mortars. Twelve explosions were recorded, and six detached houses were damaged.
In the Bilopillia community, the enemy struck with mortars twice. Seventeen explosions were recorded.
In the Krasnopillia community, Russian troops fired an anti-tank guided missile and struck with mortars. Two explosions were recorded.
A reminder that, on April 1, 2023, seven regions of Ukraine were affected by Russian attacks.
