Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin as part of a working visit to the United States met with the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Defense, Robert Storch, to discuss control over the assistance being provided to Ukraine by international partners.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office said this in a post on Telegram.
“Trust is a solid foundation for victory. We are completely transparent and open to cooperation,” Kostin said.
Both parties also discussed the strengthening of Ukraine’s anti-corruption infrastructure.
“Even amid a full-scale war, a lot has been done to fight corruption in our country. The leadership of the SAP [Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office] and NABU [National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine] has been appointed. All anti-corruption institutions are fully operational,” Kostin said.
He thanked the United States for supporting Ukraine on its way to ensuring integrity and the rule of law.
