China not transferring weapons to Russia, not preparing to do so – Budanov

China has not yet transferred a single round to Russia and is not preparing to do so.

Kyrylo Budanov, the Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

“As of now, China has not transferred a single round to the Russian Federation,” he said.

Budanov noted that China is not preparing for this.

When asked whether he thought China might take this step in the near future, the DIU chief said that China would not do so in the near future.

As reported earlier, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto believes that Ukraine and Russia should be brought to the negotiating table, and China could mediate.

On April 23, NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov called for an end to constantly bringing Ukraine to the negotiating table and for enough weapons instead.
