The head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, emphasized the need to introduce sanctions against countries that help Russia buy Western microchips, used in the production of missiles, bypassing restrictions.

The official addressed the issue on Telegram, uploading a video of the aftermath of Russia’s latest missile strike hitting an apartment block in Uman, Cherkasy region.

“Worthless creatures hit a high-rise building with a missile. There are deaths. The missile attack was carried out as civilians were sleeping. Typical of Russian terrorists,” Yermak emphasized.

According to him, “previously, 21 of the 23 missiles that were fired at Ukraine were shot down.”

“We have to cut off oxygen to the Russians. Sanctions should apply to those countries that help Russia buy Western microchips for the production of missiles, bypassing restrictions,” said the Presidential Office chief.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, three people were killed and eight were injured as a result of a Russian missile strike on Uman on the morning of April 28.
