As of 12:00 on May 4, Russian forces shelled border districts of Chernihiv and Sumy regions six times.
The Operational Command North wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
From 09:50 to 10:00, three hits, presumably from a 120mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Khrinivka.
From 10:20 to 11:00, 15 hits, presumably from an 82mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Rivne.
Around 10:08, three strikes, presumably missiles were fired from a helicopter, were recorded in the area of Buchky.
From 10:55 to 11:10, six hits, presumably from a 120mm mortar, were recorded between the settlement of Kliusy and the settlement of Khrinivka.
From 11:00 to 11:10, one hit, presumably from an 82mm mortar, was recorded in the area of Boyaro-Lezhachy settlement. A local resident was injured and a private house was damaged by the shelling.
From 10:40 to 11:10, seven hits, presumably from a 120mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Yeline.
“There has been no information about losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure,” the report says.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army shelled the border districts of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, presumably with barrel artillery, four times in the morning.
