Air Force destroys seven out of ten Kalibr missiles at night

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed seven out of 10 enemy Kalibr cruise missiles at night.

On the night of July 6, the Russian invaders committed yet another terrorist act, attacking Lviv region.

“Around 01:00, the enemy launched an attack from the waters of the Black Sea. Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from surface carriers and submarines. Several groups of missiles were recorded, which first headed in a northern direction, using the terrain and the Dnipro River bed, and then abruptly changed their course to the west,” the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

The anti-aircraft missile units and aircraft of the Air Force managed to destroy only seven out of 10 Kalibr missiles.

“Unfortunately, missiles hit civilian objects in the city of Lviv. We offer our condolences to the families of the killed and injured,” the report reads.

“Russian war criminals will definitely be punished! We need F-16s!” the Air Force emphasized.

As reported, as of 08:20, four people were killed and 32, including a child, were injured in Lviv as a result of the Russian missile attack.
