Ukrainian officer cadets will be able to complete an intense three-week training program in Canada this summer.
The relevant statement was made on the official website of Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“This summer, the Royal Military College Saint-Jean will welcome Officer cadets from Ukraine for an intense three-week training program developed in partnership with NATO through the Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP),” the report states.
The training builds on Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) training in support of Ukraine currently underway in the United Kingdom, Poland, and Latvia.
A reminder that, since the Operation UNIFIER was launched in 2015, the Canadian Armed Forces have trained over 35,000 Ukrainian military and security personnel in battlefield tactics and advanced military skills.
