During the missile attack at night, the enemy hit Odesa region with at least five types of missiles of all types of launch: Kalibr, Oniks, Kh-22, Iskander-K, Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
“A significant part of the missiles was destroyed by the air defense forces. The rest caused destruction to the port infrastructure, at least six residential buildings, including apartment blocks. Dozens of cars, facades and roofs in many buildings in the city were damaged, windows were broken. On one of the central squares of Odesa, the cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) was damaged by a Russian missile. Two architectural monuments were harmed,” the Operational Command “South” reports.
There are several shell craters in the city, outages of power lines, which may make traffic difficult, and the route of city transport will likely be changed.
So far, it is known of one person killed. Nineteen people were injured, including four children. Eleven adults and three children were hospitalized.
