During the offensive operation in the Berdiansk direction, the Defense Forces succeeded and advanced into the enemy’s depths at a distance of 350 meters to 1.4 kilometers.
That’s according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“In the Berdiansk direction, we had partial success and advanced into the enemy’s depths from 350 meters to 1.4 kilometers,” the statement said.
The press center also noted that fierce fighting for Staromaiorske is ongoing. The situation in the Melitopol direction remains unchanged.
“Due to the dense mining, Ukrainian demining groups and assault units are carrying out measures to clear the mines and inflict fire damage. The rest of the strike units are consolidating their positions on the occupied lines and are ready for further offensive actions,” the press center emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported, the area of liberated territory in the Bakhmut direction as a result of the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is 35 square kilometers.
