The Russian army carried out 14 shelling attacks on Ukraine’s northeastern Sumy region last night and this morning.
The regional military administration said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.
“At night and in the morning, the enemy carried out 14 shelling attacks on the Sumy region. Eighty-three explosions were recorded. Twelve settlements in six territorial communities were shelled: Krasnopillia, Khotin, Shalyhyn, Seredyna-Buda, Hlukhiv, Putyvl,” the post reads.
According to the administration, the invaders used mortars, artillery and MLRS.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.
Late on July 29, Russian terrorists launched a missile attack on the city of Sumy.
The missile hit an educational institution. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene, recording the consequences.
According to the main office of the National Police in the Sumy region, at least one civilian was killed and five others wounded in the attack.
