In the United Kingdom, members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are practicing assault exercises under the guidance of Canadian instructors.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“Canadian instructors are teaching Ukrainian recruits how to attack and clear trenches – assault exercises are being practiced during the multinational training operation Interflex at one of the UK training grounds,” the statement reads.
After practicing the exercise, the group, together with the instructor, analyzes the correctness of the exercise and analyzes mistakes with the help of interpreters.
“It is important to us that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as
Canada and other countries, continue to effectively support Ukraine in the long-term struggle against the violation of its sovereignty and the restoration of international security and norms,” the General Staff emphasized.
As reported, more than 900 Ukrainian marines have completed a training course in the UK, which was jointly conducted by the Royal Marines and Commando (Special Forces) during a six-month British program with the support of international partners.
