As part of his visit to Denmark, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the expansion of training missions for Ukrainian soldiers with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
Zelensky said this at a joint press conference with Frederiksen, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“We discussed the expansion of training missions. The algorithm is clear to us. We will prepare the entire infrastructure,” Zelensky said.
He said that he had visited Ukrainian defenders who are already learning to fly the F-16.
“They are motivated to win,” he said.
Zelensky thanked Frederiksen for the support and specific agreements.
“We will work together with other partners to make this success even greater for Ukrainian air defenses,” he added.
As was reported earlier, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced that her country would provide Ukraine with 19 F-16 fighter jets.
