In the Kupiansk direction, Russian invaders are creating mine obstacles along the border in the Belgorod region.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Deputy Minister Hanna Maliar on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Maliar, the enemy continues offensive attempts in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. Fierce battles are raging there.
“In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy is creating mine obstacles along the border in the Belgorod region. They are looking for weak spots in our defense to break through,” Maliar noted.
A reminder that Ukrainian defenders de-occupied 44 square kilometers in the south of the Bakhmut direction.
