2,167 children still need to be evacuated from Donetsk region – MIA

As of now, 2,167 children still need to be evacuated from the Donetsk region, and 263 children from the Synelnykove district in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was announced during a briefing at Ukrinform by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oleksii Serhieiev.

“Just in the past 24 hours, 3,649 people were evacuated from the Donetsk region with the help of National Police officers, including 137 children. There are still 2,167 children to be evacuated from the Donetsk region and 263 from the Synelnykove district in the Dnipropetrovsk region,” he said.

Serhieiev noted that since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the highest number of mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for the Donetsk and Sumy regions—28 in total.

“Indeed, there have been 28 waves of evacuation during this time. And the largest number of people being evacuated is from the Donetsk region,” the deputy minister stated.

As previously reported, three civilians were evacuated from the Velyka Novosilka community in the Donetsk region.
