Retired couple blown up by enemy mine in Sumy region

Near one of the villages in the Seredyna-Buda community in the Sumy region, a retired couple on a motorcycle with a sidecar hit an enemy mine. The victims, a 75-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman, were hospitalized.

This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, according to Ukrinform.

“In the morning, a retired couple on a motorcycle with a sidecar hit an enemy mine. It happened near one of the villages in the Seredyna-Buda community, close to the border with Russia,” the report said.

According to the Head of the Regional Military Administration, the condition of the victims is not severe. Doctors are examining them and providing the necessary help.

Hryhorov also noted that the enemy probably remotely mined this section of the road using a drone.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of August 31, an enemy drone hit a civilian car in the Bilopillia community. A 41-year-old resident was injured.
