In the Zaporizhzhia region, as a result of the attack by Shahed drones and missiles on the night of August 30, 25 apartment buildings and 325 private houses were damaged or destroyed. Some of them cannot be restored.
This was announced on the national telethon Yedyni Novyny by the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, according to Ukrinform.
“Twenty houses were damaged repeatedly, or even for the third time. Some of them cannot be repaired,” he said.
Within 24 hours after the attack, power engineers managed to restore power to 25,000 subscribers who had been left without electricity as a result of the strikes. For security reasons, 106 subscribers remain without gas.
Windows in 16 apartment buildings and 150 private houses have already been closed, roofs on 20 buildings have been repaired or temporarily installed, building materials for repairs have been supplied, and more than 520 emergency repair kits have been provided.
As reported by Ukrinform, on August 30, the Russians struck Zaporizhzhia with seven missiles and six UAVs. One person was killed. Thirty-four people were reported injured.
