On July 23, 2022, at the initiative of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, Ukraine will host the Second Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.
The event will be titled ‘Ukraine and the World: the Future We (Re)Build Together’, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Zelenska announced the holding of this summit during the Ukraine Recovery Conference in the Swiss city of Lugano, having noted that “human will be the central figure and topic of discussion”.
“We will discuss the post-war future of Ukraine and the world, how a state can rebuild all spheres of life, how to invest in human to ensure development for everyone,” Zelenska told.
Participants can attend the event via teleconference or by paying a visit to Ukraine personally.
Celebrities, lead global experts and high-ranking officials were invited to this summit. The event will be broadcast in more than 20 countries.
According to the Ukrainian Culture and Information Policy Ministry, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador David Backhem, such famous actors as Richard Gere, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, world-famous journalist Piers Morgan, and others confirmed their attendance.
