Russian troops have launched a missile strike on the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk Region. The housing stock was damaged, but no casualties among civilians were reported.
The relevant statement was made by Sloviansk City Military Civil Administration Head Vadym Liakh on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“For each resident of our city, it is a special day – Day of Liberation of Sloviansk from fascist invaders. City Day, the most favorite holiday of many Sloviansk residents, is also connected to this date. […] Again, we must defend our land against fascist invaders. Russian invaders. Today’s missile strike on Industrialna Street is a confirmation to this,” Liakh wrote.
In his words, a detached house was destroyed within the impact area. Fortunately, no casualties among civilians were reported.
A reminder that, on September 5, 2022, four civilians were injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region. Russian troops continue focusing efforts on assault and offensive actions in the Sloviansk direction.
