Over the past day, almost 33,000 people have crossed the border into Ukraine, 29,000 of them Ukrainians.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said this in a statement, Ukrinform reports.
“Over the past day, 33,000 people have arrived in Ukraine, 29,000 of them Ukrainian nationals,” the report reads.
On October 26, almost 70,000 people and 19,000 vehicles crossed Ukraine’s western borders with the EU and Moldova.
Almost 37,000 people left Ukraine on October 26. Of whom, more than 23,000 crossed the border into Poland, the rest into other EU countries and Moldova.
In addition, 68 trucks with humanitarian aid entered the territory of Ukraine.
As reported, according to the UN Refugee Agency, since Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukrainians have crossed borders into neighboring countries 10 million times.
