Settlements in Kharkiv region come under enemy fire

Over the past day, Russian troops struck the settlements of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv, Kupyansk, and Izyum districts of Kharkiv region.

Oleg Synegubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted the report on Telegram.

In particular, in Lypytsk community, the second floor of a residential building caught fire as a result of the Russian shelling. In Vovchansk, reeds and grass were burning in an open area.

“After midnight, the houses were damaged, a garage was destroyed, the windows in the buildings were blown out as a result of a Russian rocket attack on the town of Kupyansk. There were no casualties,” Synegubov noted.

A 55-year-old man was injured in the shelling of Vovchansk. He was hospitalized, his condition is moderate.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding positions in all directions. But the occupiers do not stop terrorizing the civilian population, launching rocket and artillery strikes. We ask residents not to ignore air raid sirens,” Synegubov stressed.

As reported, the enemy has several times increased the intensity of shelling of Kupyansk district, in part of which hostilities are ongoing.
