Evacuation efforts and humanitarian aid deliveries continue in the city of Kherson. 84% of consumers are connected to heat and water supply services, but the situation across the region is more challenging.

The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Tymoshenko, Kherson received the first mobile concrete bomb shelter, and it was installed in the downtown area. In the near future, a few more mobile bomb shelters will be delivered to the city.

Evacuation efforts continue. Over the past four days, 327 civilians have been evacuated, including 42 children and nine people with reduced mobility.

Water supply services have been mostly restored across the city. In the Kherson region, the situation is more challenging, and only 25% of settlements are now provided with water services, Tymoshenko added.

A reminder that, on November 11, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the city of Kherson from Russian occupiers. However, Russian troops are continuously shelling the city and the Kherson region.
