In a phone call, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre discussed a new defense package for Ukraine and further cooperation.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Had a phone call with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. Thanked for the new defense package that will strengthen us on land, in the sky & at sea. I’m also grateful for a significant 5-year aid package being prepared for approval in Norway. We discussed further cooperation. Victorious together!” Zelensky wrote.
A reminder that Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre proposed to allocate NOK 75 billion (USD 7.3 billion) in aid to Ukraine over five years.
