Ukraine national team finished its participation in the XIII Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing (China).
Over the nine days of competition, Ukrainian athletes won 11 gold, 10 silver, 8 bronze medals and ranked second in the overall team standing, Ukrinform reports.
Twenty-nine Ukrainian athletes competed in two sports (biathlon and skiing): 20 Paralympians (13 – with musculoskeletal disorders, 7 – with visual impairments) and 9 guides.
Ukraine national team showed its best result at the Winter Paralympics since 1998.
