Millions of Ukrainians are encountering russian propaganda every day. It spreads through TV, radio, media, social networks and by word of mouth. To defeat the enemy, we must fight it on all fronts. To this end, we have prepared a daily compilation of russian fakes.
Today, the russian information space is focused on the russian offensive in Donbas. The Eastern Orthodox Church celebrates Easter, so a lot of news stories were about putin and other russian officials visiting churches and celebrating the holiday with “the masses”. There are still no stories about major russian successes, but there are plenty about how bad Europe, NATO and Ukraine are doing. If you believe the russian propaganda, all western world will collapse in a matter of days. A lot of attention is given to the new “Sarmat” ICBM russia had unveiled a couple of days ago. The talks about its awesomeness and power are supposed to reassure the public and distract them from russian military failures.

Scot Ritter, a known pro-kremlin shill, is, once again, repeating the narratives of russian propaganda. He explains russian military failures in Ukraine by saying that russia is not taking this war “seriously”.
Apparently, if russia wanted, it could destroy Ukraine in days, but because they want to protect civilians and be “diplomatic”, they decided not to. So russia is not failing, russia is being “gentle” to protect Ukraine. From its own invasion.
This narrative is a complete farce. Invading forces were composed of the elite russian mechanized units, not the “lightly armed companies” Ritter tells us about. All the major Ukrainian cities were bombarded in the first days of invasion, and all the talk about “minimizing civilian casualties” falls flat when you see what happened to Mariupol, Kharkiv, Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, Izium etc.
Everything Ritter said is lies. He and other russian propagandists are desperate to save face, to explain away the russian failures, to prove that russian army is not a paper tiger built by kleptocrats. But the truth is in the open: russia had failed to capture Kyiv, their planes and helicopters are getting shot down, their tanks burn, their soldiers die in droves, their elite units are destroyed or decimated.
Kremlin wanted to build an empire, but now russia drowns in its own blood.
