Russian missile hits infrastructure facility in Odesa region

On May 20, at about 17:00 local time, Russian invasion forces launched a missile at an infrastructure facility in Odesa region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, referring to Operational Command South.

“As a result of a missile hitting one of the infrastructure facilities in Odesa region, a fire broke out, so an emergency squad is working on the scene. There are no threats to the lives and health of the civilian population in the nearby settlements,” Bratchuk said.

For his part, the head of the neighboring Mykolaiv region, Vitaliy Kim, added that «the missile hit an object in Odess region. There is a smell of ammonia in the air, but rescuers with the State Emergency Service assure that everything is fine. The concentration is minimal.”
