Over 23,000 crimes of aggression and war crimes registered in Ukraine as part of Russian invasion

A total of 23,711 crimes of aggression and war crimes have been registered in Ukraine since the Russian invasion started.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram.

According to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, a total of 23,711 crimes of aggression and war crimes committed by the Russian military have been registered, namely those related to the breaking of laws and customs of war, as well as planning, preparing for, starting and waging an aggressive war, propaganda of war, etc.

In addition, law enforcement officers registered 11,429 crimes against national security, namely those related to the encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, state treason, collaborative activities, assistance to the aggressor state, sabotage, etc.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war.
