A total of 10 civilians have been rescued from under the rubble of the apartment block destroyed in Russia’s missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, which took place last night.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As of 01:00 p.m., salvage and rescue operations were underway at the site of missile strikes in Zaporizhzhia. A total of 10 people have been rescued by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service,” the report states.
Many volunteers and canine handlers have joined rescue efforts.
A reminder that Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of October 9, 2022. A total of 12 civilians had been reported killed and 49 injured so far, including six children.
