Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine

 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Lithuanian counterpart Gitanas Nauseda have discussed Ukraine’s defense needs and its further Euro-Atlantic integration.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky announced this on Twitter.

“In touch with our friend, President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda. We’ve talked about the situation on the battlefield, Ukraine’s defense needs, and further Euro-Atlantic integration,” he said.

Zelensky also received congratulations from Nauseda on the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine.

Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas has recently announced a new military aid package for Ukraine.

Lithuania’s Minister of Defense, Arvydas Anusauskas, announced that the PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, repaired in Lithuania, are already returning to Ukraine.

He wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“PzH2000 repaired in Lithuania are being returned to the battlefield in Ukraine. Good luck!” the minister wrote.

Anusauskas earlier tweeted that Lithuania would supply Ukraine’s Armed Forces with winter clothes and equipment, allocate additional funds for next year’s material support, and provide 120 mm mortars on platform 113, armored cars, thermal imagers, drones, etc. According to him, after the delivery of this batch of aid, Lithuania’s total military aid to Ukraine will reach EUR 230 million.
