Since the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have shelled 1,100 Ukrainian medical facilities, and now more than UAH 38 billion is required for their restoration.

That’s according to the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports.

The ministry says the invaders over the eight months of the war damaged 1,100 medical facilities, of which 144 were completely destroyed.

“Ninety-five medical facilities have already been fully restored. Another 204 objects have been restored partially,” the ministry said.

The cost of the works to rebuild destroyed facilities is tentatively estimated at over UAH 38 billion.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, despite the full-scale invasion by Russia, the Ministry of Health managed to carry out centralized procurement of medicines and equipment for 2022 in line with the initial plan.
