Air raid sirens last over 14 hours in Dnipropetrovsk region

Last night and in the morning of December 15, 2022, Russian troops were shelling three communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district. Air raid sirens lasted over 14 hours.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night and in the morning, Russian occupation troops were shelling the Nikopol district with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and heavy artillery. Such communities as Myrove, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka were suffering from enemy attacks. At least 40 enemy projectiles hit there,” the report states.

According to the preliminary data, civilians remained unharmed.

In the Marhanets community, destructions in detached houses and household buildings were reported. A gas pipeline was seriously damaged.

In the Chervonohryhorivka and Myrove communities, the effects are yet to be checked. Relevant services are inspecting the impact areas.
