Zelensky holds Supreme CinC Staff meeting to discuss situation on front lines

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the situation at the front.

That’s according to the press service of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.

“The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed [participants in the meeting] about the overall situation at the front. The commanders of the operational and strategic groupings of troops reported on the situation in their respective areas. Separately, members of the Staff focused on the course of hostilities at the most difficult points of the front,” the report said.

The chiefs of intelligence agencies spoke about the plans and likely actions of the enemy in the near and medium term.

In addition, the participants in the meeting were informed about the results of the counter-intelligence work of the Ukrainian special services.

The current foreign policy situation in the context of repelling the Russian invasion was also considered.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, and the commanders of military branches and operational areas attended the meeting. Government members and the heads of security and law enforcement agencies also joined the meeting.
