Ukrainian border guards repelled four Russian attacks in Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
Thus, the Russians attacked three times at night, and another breakthrough attempt was made in the early hours of Saturday. The border guards repelled the enemy’s infantry waves using small arms, one of the assault groups was pelted with grenades.
“All enemy forces’ attempts to break through the defense line by assault had no success. The enemy’s estimated casualties reached 13 people: 6 killed, 7 wounded,” the report says.
As Ukrinform reported, Bakhmut remains at the epicenter of hostilities. Fierce battles for the city are enjoining.
