The Russian invasion army used heavy artillery to shell the city of Nikopol in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region.
A local man, 43, sustained injuries, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, reported on Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.
“A 43-year-old man was wounded as a result of today’s shelling of Nikopol. In the afternoon, the occupiers hit the city with heavy artillery,” he wrote.
As a result of the strike, a gas station, a logistics company, a power line, and a number of cars and trucks were damaged.
It was calm in other areas of the region on Sunday.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on May 7, the Russian Air Force dropped five guided aerial bombs over Kherson region.
