Biden, Stoltenberg to discuss NATO summit, aid to Ukraine

The White House officially announced the visit of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to Washington on June 12 to discuss with President Joe Biden the issue of further support for Ukraine.

This was reported by White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre, Ukrinform’s own correspondent reports.

The efforts to further strengthen the Alliance will be on the agenda, the spokesman told journalists.

She clarified that it is, in particular, about strengthening NATO’s deterrence and defense capabilities. In addition, the parties will talk the Alliance’s support for Ukraine against the background of the brutal war of aggression being waged by the Russian Federation.
