At the request of the German government, the defense concern Rheinmetall will supply 20 more Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine in the summer.

That’s according to a press release from the concern Rheinmetall, Ukrinform reports.

“Awarded in May 2023, the order is worth a figure in the lower-two-digit million-euro range. The Marders are due to be delivered this summer,” Rheinmetall said in a statement.

In total, we are talking about 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles.

“Work on this is already underway at Rheinmetall’s plants in Kassel and Unterlüß. Up to ten infantry fighting vehicles can be delivered per month,” the concern added.
