In Mykolaiv, 19 people were injured as a result of an enemy missile strike, two of them hospitalized, including a child.
Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
At night on July 20, around 03:03, the enemy launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv. As a result of the hit, several floors of a three-story building were destroyed and a fire broke out over an area of 450 square meters, which firefighters extinguished at 07:45. The rubble is being cleared. The neighboring multi-storey buildings were damaged.
Kim also said that three garages caught fire and were quickly extinguished. About 15 garages were damaged. Windows in several high-rise buildings that were located nearby were smashed.
A total of 19 people were injured as a result of the missile strike. Eight people sought medical assistance, two were hospitalized, including a child, the RMA chief emphasized.
According to Kim, yesterday, July 19, at 1:09, 2:25, and 3:34 p.m., enemy shelling was recorded in the waters of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.
Also yesterday, at 1:30, 2:16 and 3:04 p.m., Russians fired at the village of the Kutsurub community. A garage was destroyed, outbuildings and windows in residential buildings were damaged. Fires on the territory of a private household and outside the settlement were extinguished. There were no casualties, said the head of the military administration.
In addition, yesterday at 3:04 p.m., 5:54 p.m., 6:26 p.m. and on Thursday at 7:06 a.m. Ochakiv came under enemy fire. A five-story apartment was on fire because of a hit. One man was injured. The consequences of the morning shelling are being clarified.
In the Pervomaisk, Bashtanka and Voznesensk districts, the day and night were relatively calm, Kim noted.
As reported, last night the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 18 enemy air targets.
The invaders again attacked the southern regions of Ukraine, attacking Odesa and Mykolaiv with Russian missiles, which hit ports, berths, residential buildings and retail chains.
