Last night Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district seven times.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“All night long, the Russian army was shelling the Nikopol district. The enemy attacked the district seven times. About three dozens of heavy artillery shells struck the city of Nikopol, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities,” Lysak wrote.

In his words, Russian attacks caused damage to an educational institution, administrative building, communications company, postal office and church. Two 2-storey houses and a household building were hit. Power transmission lines were seriously damaged.

According to Lysak, civilians remained unharmed. Rescuers continue inspecting the impact locations.

Additionally, Russia attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with an unmanned aerial vehicle, presumably the Shahed drone. Ukrainian defenders from the East Air Command shot it down.
