Ukraine attacks only Russian military facilities, and the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant is not one of them.

Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, said this on Ukrainian Radio, commenting on Ukraine’s alleged plans to blow up the Kursk NPP, Ukrinform reports.

“Ukraine has no intention to interfere in the work of objects that they write about on social media, including the Kursk NPP. We attack only military objects, and here we do not have to ask for permission from anyone. We do this using our weapon, which is getting better every day,” Danilov said.

He noted that Russia’s actions are unpredictable, but Ukraine is monitoring the development of events.

“At the beginning of his activity, Putin blew up houses with people in his country, so you can expect anything from them. However, Ukraine is monitoring all the processes that are taking place there,” Danilov said.

Ukraine’s National Resistance Center earlier said that the Russians were staging a provocation at the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant and preparing to evacuate the local population.

Danilov said that Ukraine had nothing to do with alleged Russian provocations at the Kursk NPP.
