Bipartisan delegation of U.S. senators arrives in Ukraine

A bipartisan delegation of senior officials from the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee has arrived in Kyiv.

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink announced this on X, according to Ukrinform.

“Great to welcome a bipartisan delegation of senior officials from the Senate Appropriations Committee. Their visit highlights how U.S. assistance is [helping] Ukraine defend itself, and the security of Europe, against Russian aggression,” Brink wrote.

U.S. State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said on December 3 that the current U.S. administration was working around the clock to provide all possible support to Ukraine within its powers.

The U.S. government has recently announced $725 million in a new security assistance package for Ukraine, which includes HIMARS ammunition, artillery shells, unmanned aerial systems, Stinger systems, and other weaponry.
