Man killed in Russian shelling of Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv region

On the morning of January 14, Russian troops attacked Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region, killing a man.

Viacheslav Zadorenko, the head of the Derhachi city military administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Today, at about 08:00, the Russian occupiers launched another attack on Kozacha Lopan, killing a 52-year-old local resident who had exited his house to feed his dog,” Zadorenko said.

He also stated that the shelling had caused damage to a gas pipeline. He confirmed that efforts are underway to restore it.

The type of weapon used in the attack is being established by law enforcement agencies, the Zadorenko added.

As reported, on January 13, Russian troops attacked the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, with a Shahed UAV, injuring a child.
